Rally by the River Days is back and packed full of fun for everyone! Friday night will kickoff with ringing of our Historic Town Hall Bell, a music/beer&spirits/artist tent sponsored by the GR Arts Council featuring our very own Towpath Radio, and Town Hall performance of "The Sound of Music". Saturday festivities include our Rally by the River parade, Chicken BBQ, Children's craft and rubber duck game in the Old Fire Station, Kids Casting Competition on the towpath, "Buck-a-Duck" Rubber Duck Race (limited 2,000 ducks), Plein Air Artists on the Towpath, Corn Hole Tournament and our 2nd performance of "The Sound of Music" in the Town Hall. Sunday is concluded with food trucks, Puppy Parade, Cardboard Boat Regatta, Children's craft and rubber duck game in the old fire station and the final showing of "The Sound of Music". You'll have the opportunity to vote for your favorite photo of Grand Rapids at our downtown businesses, top 13 photos will be made into a 2025 Calendar available for purchase October 2024. Photo ops around every corner and specials in your favorite downtown businesses- it's a weekend you won't want to miss!!

Come hang out on the beautiful towpath at the Wright Pavillion to kick off Rally by the River Days!
All proceeds benefit the Grand Rapids Arts Council. Beer, Elderberry Lemonade from Heban's and Dougaritas
will be available for purchase. Music by our very own Towpath Radio and live painting by Toledo Artist Teeth!
Leave your cooler but bring a chair and experience Grand Rapids.

Kids Casting Competition on the Towpath 12pm
Another event for the kids! Kids compete to cast a line into a hula hoop. The hula hoop is moved further away after each round. The top three kids who cast the furthest into the hoop win a prize. Fishing poles provided.

That's right, it's back! $1 for 1 Duck (number). Stop by select Downtown Grand Rapids Shoppes to pick your lucky Duck numbers then join us at the Town Hall park Bridge as we drop 2,000 Rubber Ducks in the canal. 10 prizes total with 1st prize at $300 cash!

A parade sure to melt your hearts and lift your spirits! Join us as we showcase some of the cutest, fluffiest, and most charming puppies around! We will meet in the park by Town Hall, head East to the Mill House, over to the Towpath and back to the park for Puppy awards and snacks! Please join us as we celebrate our fury friends, who bring endless joy, wagging tails, and boundless energy into our lives! It will be a paw-some time!!! Please keep in mind there will be a crowd at this event. If your pup does not react well to crowds or people, this parade may not be a good fit. Remember, safety first!
